Carrizo Plains the Super Bloom Capital of California. We spent our very first few days of our trip here. What an underappreciated place to go explore. We've been to Carrizo Plains a few times but only for a day or two at most. With a few more days you realize how much there is hidden in the hills here. Of course if you time it just right in the spring time you can get quite a show!
